The emergence of new technologies promotes the development of endodontics. These rotary files are designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures that are generated during the root canal treatment process. They are made from high-quality nickel-titanium alloy and undergo a special heat treatment process that gives them exceptional flexibility and strength. These tools have revolutionized the way dentists approach root canal treatment.

The “Treatment of Root Canals with SC PRO (COXO) System ” course was designed for the:

• Working dentists who would like to undergo further training
• Dental students who would like to undergo further training

The aim of the training is to introduce  “MECHANICAL TREATMENT OF ROOT CANALS WITH SC PRO (COXO) SYSTEM” to the dentists and dental students.

Topics covered by the training:

• Endodontic instruments and equipment
• How to avoid steps in the canals?
• Principles of access design
• Morphology and anatomy of the root canal system
• Principles of chemo-mechanical treatment
• How many times can a file be used?
• Canal treatment based on the shape of the root canal.
• Which solution to choose? The anatomy of the root canal.
• Introduction to the SC Pro system protocol
• What to do if a file in a particular set runs out?

The lecture is followed by practical training, during which each participant:

• Prepares a root canal on an endodontic plastic block using the SC Pro system

The aim of this coerce is to ensure individual development during the course and maintain learning motivation. Study materials are provided by the training center.

The registration for the course imposes financial obligation. By registering for the course you confirm your presence on the course and agree to pay for the course as stated in the terms and conditions. The tuition fee must be paid before the start of the training under the contract.

Lecturer:

Dr. Aleksei Šaganov obtained his dental degree from the University of Tartu (2009) and completed a restorative dentistry residency program in endodontics (2009-2012).

He works in a dental clinic specializing in root canal treatment.
